Slashdot has a post about "America's Most Connected Campuses". #1 is in Upstate NY, 5 out of the top 20 are in NY and 4 of those are in Upstate NY. On an educational note, I'd like to tell SoCal and SiliValley to "suck it" - but on an economical note, I now understand why the IT market in this area is so flooded, and why my salary (according to all those depressing surveys) is well below the national average for what I do.
