I just caught this article on Wired about how a monkey with a robotic arm was able to use the arm to feed itself. The first thing that popped into my mind was Hedonism-Bot from Futurama:
The second thing that popped into my head was how this race of killer robot monkeys will one day take over the planet. Of course we all know that would take an awful lot of cigarettes and coffee. And I'd like to see those damn robo-monkeys forking over $6 for a pack of Marbs - it'll never happen I tells ya!
