I remember when I used to change this tagline on a weekly basis

smart in 2008

smart cars I had thought they were coming in 2007, but I just got an email newsletter that says they're coming in 2008. I guess the deal with Zap fell through and now they're getting imported by United Auto (based in Michigan). So far they don't list any dealers in the US yet, but hopefully there will be one near Rochester.

My understanding of the SMART's coming the USA are that they are bloated versions of the EURO spec ones and that they will cost significantly more as well.

Hopefully that will not be true.

Of course they already have them in Canada.
