Build your own budget with Oreo cookies and send it to Congress

I thought that this was kinda neat. You can watch the one on the left to see how the budget of Oreos works, then you can go back and use the one on the right to build your own budget and it will send it to the appropriate members of congress for your area. It is our money that they get, so they should know how we'd like them to spend it.

My favorite one is:

"Oh my gosh, this cotton tunic is fabulous!" (hey_hon)

(...not that there's anything wrong with that!)

Just when I thought I had a good idea...

...I find out someone else has already made it:
A Wiki full of Recipes. They took what I thought was a sweet idea and implemented it nicely.

Bonus: They even have a wikibook for Esperanto.

Dennis Miller - I don't want to go on a rant, here, but America's foreign policy makes about as much sense as Beowulf having sex with Robert Fulton at the first battle of Antietam. I mean when a neo-conservative defenestrates it's like Raskolnikov filibuster deoxymonohydroxinate... [Peter is watching this on TV]

Asia Earthquake and Tsunami Fund

I gave to Oxfam. This earthquake probably couldn't have come at a worse time for donations either as most of us spent all of our money (and then some) during the holiday season. Thankfully they take credit. You can also donate through UNICEF, the Red Cross, or other agencies.

To: Gmail Spam filter, Merry Christmas! From: Worm.Zafi.D Part 2

I didn't even bother adding these up, maybe I will later. Either way, I think the point is that I'm supposed to have a merry Christmas.

To: Gmail Spam filter, Merry Christmas! From: Worm.Zafi.D

Thanks to whoever the a-hole is that got the Merry Christmas worm that spoofed my gmail address as the sender. I really enjoyed 12:35pm to 2:43pm when I received 560 bounce messages. Look at the screenshot below, and check out the times at the right and the number of threaded messages in parentheses:

Hanukkah Beer: He'Brew, The chosen beer

Mom-dogg sent me this 4 minute NPR piece about Schmaltz Brewing Company, the makers of: HE'BREW, the chosen beer. A kosher beer made especially for Hanukkah. Available in Genesis Ale (their first creation - a blend between pale and amber ales), Messiah Bold (on Schmaltz's 8th anniversary it's 8 malts, 8 hops, and 8% alcohol) and Miraculous Jewbilation (new this year, the most extreme Hanukkah beer ever created). Don't pass out, Passover!
